Laura jo Parkinson my precious Angel.
28/03/2008
age 21
Huyton, Merseyside
Mum, Dad and sister Lucy
Laura had epilepsy, one day she had a bad seizure that stopped her heart.

Laura had learning difficulties, but she was very independant, she would go canoeing, rock climbing
etc. Laura loved life and everything she did she got pleasure from even just going to the local
supermarket put a big smile on her face. Everyone to her was her friend, everyone would get a big
hug, she never saw bad in anyone because she did not understand bad or evil. Laura jo was not only
my beautiful daughter she was my best friend, we spent all our time together.
I miss laura jo's big big smile, her infectious laugh, her big hugs but most of all i miss my
best friend xx
Baby i hope your 'Somewhere over the rainbow' with the angels.

A Tiny flower lent not given,
to bud on earth but bloom in heaven.

You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and wish that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's left. You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. These words have brought me comfort following Chelseas death. I hope they do the same for you. Thinking of you, stay strong Trudy Young (Lydiard House) xxxx

I’m going to tell you something
Hope you’ll never have to know
Ill tell you how a heart can break
With constant tears in flow

I lost my Laura Jo you see
An angel in my eyes
God chose to take her hand one day
And led her to the skies

But please do not forget my child
She was a person too
And forever she will live
Inside of me and you

So please don’t ever tell me
That time will heal my pain
Because not even time
Can bring her back again

Just tell me she is happy
In that land way up above
She’s snuggled in angels wings
All wrapped in her Mum's Love.

Just the average family
We didn't ask for more,
Then life was changed completely
With that knock upon our door

This awful thing had happened
And none of us knew why,
You were never coming back again
And we didn't say goodbye

Our world just fell to pieces
We cried in disbelief,
We had to stick together
To overcome our grief

We'll never understand it
It all seems so unfair,
We wish we'd hear that knock again
And see you standing there.

~x♥x~ A CHRISTMAS PRAYER ~x♥x~

~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~
As we draw to the end of another year,
We think of the ones that we hold so dear;
We pause to give thanks for our friends so true,
And ask God to bless them, the old and new.
We hold up each loved one before His Throne
And ask Him to comfort the ones alone;
For those who have lost someone they hold dear,
We ask Him to strengthen and hold them near.
For those who have prospered, with new joys to savour,
We ask God continues to show them His favour.
~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~

And those with new babies, or newly wed,
We ask Him to smooth out the path ahead;
For those who are ill and can barely stand,
We ask for the touch of His healing hand.
For those with new homes, with new jobs and new stress,
We ask Him to crown all their plans with success.
For those who have dreams and think, 'It's now or never,'
We ask Him to bless all that they should endeavour .
For those who are facing an uphill climb,
We ask Him to carry them through this time.
~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~ ~x♥x~

As we come to the start of a brand new year,
We pray for the ones that we hold so dear.
We ask that each one will be soundly blessed,
To taste of His goodness and know His best;
For angels to watch o'er them day and night,
For miracles, blessings and sheer delight!
We ask for the gifts that the world can't buy:
A glimpse at the wonders of Heaven on high,
Contentment and joy till the Lord comes again,
This we ask for our friends, in His Name, Amen.

Feel no guilt in laughter, she knows how much you care
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she’s not here to share
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to
She’d hope that you can carry on, the way you always do
So talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared
Let memories surround you.
A word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day
That brings her back as clearly as though she were still here
And fills you with the feelings that she is always near
For if you keep these moments, you will never be apart
And she will live forever locked safe within your heart...

*♥~Laura Jo Remembered~The Alder Centre Candle Service Of Remembrance~♥*

Hi Laura Jo
Although I didn't know you sweet♥ you've really touched me~I too lost a treasured and very special daughter (Emma Louise, my only child) recently (last year) when she was only a little older than you (23). Like you, Emma had learning difficulties but, again like you, she was the most special, loving, caring and open-hearted person you could imagine~always with a smile on her face, she too used to give everyone a hug and didn't know bad or evil and, like you were with your mum, she was not only my daughter but, my best friend and we went everywhere together~practically joined at the hip most of the time we were!!...You were so alike in so many ways...and we also come from/live in Liverpool...
So it was that I came to be at the Alder Centre Candle Service in remembrance of our children at the Anglican Cathedral on Tuesday 9th December.
Although Emma got her Angel Wings last year and her name was read out at last years service, I actually couldn't be there because, last years service clashed with Emma's closest friend, Sherine, singing in a special concert in Birkenhead and I knew, after talking with Emma, which one she would have gone to and wanted me to go to.
So, Laura Jo, this was my first year at the Service~I went with some friends~Dot, Joyce and Alisha~who are part of Sherine's and her mum Mand's family (Mand's Aunty, cousin and cousin's daughter)~and didn't really know what to expect...It was very busy, packed.
What a beautiful service~so very moving...so many names read out of children who had passed~so many, in fact, that they have to read them in two parts...They just went on-and-on...Emma's name was read out (Emma Louise Worsley)~I was so proud and choked-up as well~and so was Keeley's (Joyce's daughter, Keeley Ann Smith, who got her Angel Wings nearly 18 years ago when she was only 2 months old and who would have been 18 on 24th November)...But, Laura Jo, in amongst all the names~only a few that I'd recognised from other parents I've met at the Alder Centre~I heard your name~Laura Jo Parkison...Although I don't know your mum and dad and family, I found myself looking round to see if I could see them or any sign of recognition...Silly me, eh!
Anyway, sweet♥~I just wanted to let you know about that and also let your family know I'm thinking about them, particularly as Christmas fast approaches~as I know how they'll be feeling...Lost and bereft without you physically in their midst, I know...stay close to them sweet♥~leave them signs that you're still around, even though they can't see you, and always will be and help them to feel a little bit of peace from the pain~I always feel peace when my Emma's around and she's forever playing little tricks and leaving signs for me, which does help :-)
I do hope you and Emma have met up and are having a great time with all the other beautiful Angels~Keep shining Laura Jo, keep shining down on your loved ones and guiding their way.
♥felt love, thoughts and blessings always and thinking of you all oh so much~Sue~xXx
